The valve unit comprises a valve rod and a valve closure member. A flow housing comprises a fluid inlet channel and a fluid outlet channel. A connection cross section of the fluid inlet channel and the fluid outlet channel is configured to be controlled by the valve closure member. A pressure detection chamber is fluidically connected with the fluid inlet channel. A pressure sensor is arranged in the pressure detection chamber and is integrated in the drive housing. The pressure sensor comprises a pressure detection surface arranged in a plane. A normal of the pressure detection surface is arranged so as to be perpendicular to a direction of a fluid flow into the pressure detection chamber.
