For example, a wireless communication unit may communicate a sequence of wireless communication symbols representing transmitted data bits, wherein a symbol of the symbols includes at least one data block, which includes a set of data bits and a set of repetition bits, the set of data bits including a first number of the transmitted data bits, and the set of repetition bits including a second number of bits, which are identical to at least a subset of the set of data bits, and wherein the symbol includes at least one plurality of check-code bits corresponding to the at least one data block.
