An exemplary method includes a media content provider subsystem providing an online recording manager service for access by a user, providing an online content management service for access by the user, receiving, through the online recording manager service, a recording request initiated by the user to record a television content program, and publishing, in response to the recording request received through the online recording manager service, a recording of the television content program to the online content management service for hosted access by the user through the online content management service.
