Abstract:
The invention relates to lamina-like iron pigments produced by deformation of carbonyl iron powder, the lamina-like iron pigments having a size distribution with a D50 value in a range of from 3 to 16 μm and a size/thickness ratio in a range of from 2 to 50. The invention furthermore relates to a magnetorheological fluid which contains the lamina-like iron pigments according to the invention, as well as to a device which contains the magnetorheological fluid.
