An electric coupling for railways contains a first and a second coupling part (9) each comprising a support (16) in which a plurality of linking parts are arranged by means of which an electric, pneumatic and/or hydraulic link can be established from one coupling part to another coupling part. In addition, at least one high-frequency link (10) is provided which is formed by an enclosed antenna (20) in one coupling part and by an enclosed antenna (24) in the other coupling part.
