An exemplary method includes a location-based application management system 1) determining that a mobile device associated with a user is located within a geographic vicinity associated with an entity, 2) automatically identifying, in response to the determining, an executable application associated with the entity, and 3) facilitating execution by the mobile device of the identified executable application while the mobile device is located within the geographic vicinity associated with the entity.
