Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cement manufacturing plant includes a system for capturing carbon dioxide (CO2) from an exhaust gas stream generated in the kiln 110 of the cement manufacturing plant by using regenerative calcium cycle (RCC) into the cement manufacturing process. Also, the invention relates to a method of capturing carbon dioxide CO2 from a carbon dioxide CO2 rich exhaust gas stream generated in a cement kiln, wherein the method includes recirculation of the carbon dioxide CO2 rich exhaust gas stream to a unit for carbonization.
