A method of enabling a rear input on an electronic device includes dividing one display screen into a first screen and a second screen; displaying an input screen mapped to a first input device on the first screen of a display unit; displaying an input screen mapped to a second input device on the second screen of the display unit; and displaying the input screens mapped to the first and second input devices when entering a character input mode.
