The invention relates to an absorbent for the therapeutic treatment of a wound on the human or animal body by means of negative pressure. More particularly, the invention relates to an absorbent for the therapeutic treatment by means of negative pressure of a wound comprising, at its surface, a tissue structure which is sensitive and lies deep in the intact body, the tissue structure being a blood vessel or a nerve.
