A mobile network configuration 800 includes a plurality of mobile computing devices B, C, D each operating one or more cellular network interfaces to connect with one or more cellular networks 805 that provide a gateway 815 to a Wide Area Network (WAN) 515. Each mobile computing device B, C, D routes substantially all network traffic exiting from the mobile computing device to a network controller 520 deployed on or reachable over the WAN 515. The network controller 520 routes incoming exit data packets to a final destination IP address read from each exit data packet and causes any reply data packets responsive to the exit data packets to be routed back to the network controller 520. The reply data packets are then routed back to the appropriate mobile computing device. When multiple communication links 810 are available network traffic is divided over the available links 810.
