A plant treatment method including, by a computing system: identifying a plant, in situ, within a geographic area; identifying an interleaf insertion point relative to leaves of the plant; positioning a treatment mechanism at the insertion point; and operating a treatment mechanism to apply a fluid treatment to a plant.
