摘要：
A display device including a display panel driving unit configured to convert an image signal provided from an external device into a data signal such that an image is displayed on a display panel, and to output a first light control signal and a second light control signal. A backlight unit is configured to provide the display panel with a first color light and a second color light different from the first color light in response to the first light control signal and the second control signal. The display panel driving unit is further configured to determine a pulse width of each of the first light control signal and the second light control signal according to a color characteristic of the image signal.
