The high-voltage battery includes an electrode assembly that includes a cathode plate, an anode plate, and a separator disposed between the cathode plate and the anode plate. A safety member is coupled to an outer surface of the electrode assembly, and includes a first electrically conductive plate electrically connected to the cathode plate, and a second electrically conductive plate that is electrically connected to the anode plate and has an insulation surface on a surface of the safety member.
