There is provided a material for molding, wherein 50 to 2,000 parts by mass of a polybutylene terephthalate is adhered to carbon fiber bundles to be easily impregnated containing 100 parts by mass of a carbon fiber and 3 to 15 parts by mass of at least one impregnation aid that meets specific requirements.
