A minimum clearance between a wrap (3L) of the fixed scroll (3) and a wrap (4L) of the orbiting scroll (4) in the expansion section (1) is set to be less than a minimum clearance between the wrap (3L) of the fixed scroll (3) and the wrap (4L) of the orbiting scroll (4) in the compression section (2).
