The panel also includes a second substrate disposed opposed to the first substrate, where the second substrate includes a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of data lines intersecting and insulated from the gate lines, and a plurality of pixel units connected to the gate and data lines. The panel also includes a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, and a shielding pillar disposed between two adjacent color filter units, where the shielding pillar includes a plurality of discontinuous auxiliary shielding pillars, and where each auxiliary shielding pillar intersects a data line at an included angle.
