The method for producing a composite semipermeable membrane is characterized by: comprising a step in which an amine solution containing a polyfunctional amine component and an organic solution containing a polyfunctional acid halide component are brought into contact on a porous support to form a skin layer containing a polyamide resin on the surface of the porous support, wherein the polyfunctional amine component contains N,N′ -dimethyl-meta-phenylenediamine and the solvent of the organic solution is an organic solvent having a boiling point of 130 to 250° C.
