The electronic device includes a display module configured to display at least one content, a touch screen module configured to detect a touch input, a memory configured to store an unlock solution, and a processor electrically connected to the touch screen module, the display module, and the memory. The processor displays an unlock user interface (UI) through the display module. The processor also receives a touch input, for inputting an unlock solution on the unlock UI, through the touch screen module. The processor also displays a short-cut UI, including a plurality of icons, on the unlock UI through the display module in response to a position where the input unlock resolution is ended.
