This disclosure describes methods, apparatus, and systems related to devices (e.g., a smart AP) learning and/or estimating the resources required by client devices (e.g., an STA). This can be done, for example, by monitoring the informational statistics of the client device, such as the client device's traffic pattern and behavior. This information can be used to efficiently allocate resources and dynamically update the resources as needed, hence optimizing the limited resources available on the device and/or the client device.
