A display device, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises a display module which displays, on a first region, at least one icon arranged in a preset order; a sensing module which senses an action for entering a voice command mode; a memory for storing at least one item of data; and a controller which refers to the memory, and extracts text corresponding to the icon that is displayed on the first region, wherein the controller controls such as that the extracted text is displayed on a second region, and, if a voice command corresponding to the text displayed on the second region is recognized, the icon displayed on the first region is activated.
