The base station may receive broadcast area information indicative of areas to which the V2X message will be broadcast, from a multi-cell coordination entity (MCE), receive the V2X message from a terminal, and transmit the received V2X message to a neighboring base station. Provided are a method for transmitting, by a V2X server in a wireless communication system, a vehicle to everything (V2X) message, and an apparatus for supporting the same. The V2X server may receive the V2X message transmitted by a base station from a serving/packet-gateway (S/P-GW), determine a broadcast of the received V2X message, and transmit the V2X message to a base station that belongs to the same multimedia broadcast single frequency network (MBSFN) area as the base station.
