The circuitry acquires type data indicating a type of the image capturing device. The circuitry determines the type of the image capturing device based on the acquired type data. Based on the determined type of the image capturing device, the circuitry determine a type of image processing to be performed on the acquired image data, and performs the determined image processing on the acquired image data.
