A portable loudspeaker includes: an enclosure having a first enclosure portion and a second enclosure portion, which together define an acoustic cavity. The loudspeaker further includes an electro-acoustic transducer disposed within the acoustic cavity, where a first side of the electro-acoustic transducer is secured to the first enclosure portion with fasteners and a second, opposite side of the electro-acoustic transducer is secured to the second enclosure portion with an adhesive. The loudspeaker also includes a strap having a first end that is fixedly coupled to the enclosure and a second end that is releasably coupled to the enclosure, where the second end of the strap is also configured to be coupled to another portion of the strap to form a closed loop.
