The memory is configured to store instructions that when executed enable the processor to control the display to display an execution screen of application stored in the memory. The instructions also enable the processor to identify an occurrence of an event for displaying an execution screen of the virtual keyboard application while displaying the execution screen of the application. The instructions further enable the processor to, based on the occurrence of the event, identify at least one color value related to the at least one element included in the execution screen of the application, and control the display to display the execution screen of the virtual keyboard application corresponding to the at least one identified color value.
