One aspect is an information processing system including: an identifier configured to output an identification result with an image as input; an automatically identifiable range storage unit configured to store an identifiable range of the identifier defined by numerical values in n (n is an integer of 1 or more) dimensions; an acquisition unit configured to acquire the numerical values corresponding to the image; a control unit configured to compare the numerical values acquired by the acquisition unit and the identifiable range; and an alert output unit configured to output an alert when the control unit determines that the numerical values acquired by the acquisition unit deviate from the identifiable range.
