The electronic device includes a first cover, a second cover that is coupled with the first cover and that performs a sliding operation, a display, an exposed area of which is changed in size in response to the sliding operation of the second cover, a panel support part that is disposed on one side of a rear surface of the display with respect to a front surface of the display and that includes a first hole exposed in response to the sliding operation of the second cover, a rotary shaft that makes contact with at least part of the panel support part and rotates in response to the sliding operation of the second cover, and a sensor, at least part of which is disposed under the first hole.
