A display device of the present disclosure includes a display panel including a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of data lines, and a plurality of subpixels. The display device further includes a gate driving circuit for supplying scan signals to the plurality of gate lines, a data driving circuit for supplying data voltage to the plurality of data lines, and a timing controller. The timing controller is for controlling the gate driving circuit and the data driving circuit, and controlling a luminance of the plurality of subpixels according to a driving frequency of image data by detecting a variable information which is changed according to the driving frequency of the image data supplied from a host system.
