The LED chip includes: a light emitting layer configured to emit light; a semiconductor layer provided on the light emitting layer; and a growth substrate provided on the semiconductor layer. The light emitting layer is arranged to be biased toward a first side of the growth substrate such that a center of an upper surface of the growth substrate is provided between a center of the light emitting layer and a center of the semiconductor layer.
