An apparatus with a selector input device to transmit media content items comprises a camera with a camera lens and an image sensor, a communication interface, and a selector input device. The apparatus can also comprise a processor and a memory having instructions stored thereon, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to perform operations comprising detecting activation of the selector input device. In response to detecting the activation, the processor can capture a media content item via the camera and transmit, via the communication interface, the media content item to a client device.
