In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a request message indicating that the UE is to set particular content for UE capability information. The UE may receive, from the base station, a UE capability enquiry message. The UE may transmit, to the base station, one or more segments of a UE capability information message having the particular content. Numerous other aspects are described.
