A method of wireless communication performed by a first sidelink user equipment (UE) may include receiving, from a base station (BS), an indicator indicating a set of start times associated with a transmission opportunity, performing a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure for the transmission opportunity, and transmitting, to a second UE, a communication starting at a selected start time of the set of start times based on the LBT procedure being successful.
