Within the side wall layer which is adjacent to the light emitting element in the light emitting direction, each of the plurality of light control patterns has a certain height, the plurality of light control patterns are arranged along a major surface of the substrate and spaced apart from each other by a certain distance between two adjacent light control patterns of the light control patterns, and a ratio of the height to the distance is greater than about 1.4.
