In one aspect of the disclosure, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, at a user equipment (UE) from a network entity, a resource configuration message. The resource configuration message includes a first parameter corresponding to full duplex (FD) uplink (UL) and a second parameter corresponding to FD downlink (DL). The method further includes transmitting, from the UE to the network entity, a FD reference signal based on the resource configuration message.
