The memory may include instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to: detect events related to the display of content; apply a gradient graphic effect to at least a partial region of a background image based on a distance from a first region in which the content is displayed; and display, through the display, the background image and the content that has had the gradient graphic effect applied thereto.
