The display device comprises a first substrate which includes an active area including a plurality of sub pixels and a non-active area adjacent to the active area and is formed of one of transparent conducting oxide and an oxide semiconductor, an inorganic layer disposed on the first substrate, a planarization layer disposed on the inorganic layer, a bank disposed on the planarization layer, an adhesive layer disposed on the inorganic layer, the planarization layer, and the bank, and a second substrate disposed on the adhesive layer, wherein the bank includes a first bank disposed in an area overlapping the first substrate and a second bank disposed to enclose a side surface of the first bank to improve a moisture permeation prevention characteristic and reduce cracks generated at an outer peripheral area.
