The first rotatable member comprises a first cable track and a second cable track, and the second rotatable member comprises a third cable track and a fourth cable track. A bowstring extends between the first rotatable member and the second rotatable member. The bowstring defines a bowstring plane. A latch is attached to the stock and arranged to engage the bowstring. A trigger is arranged to release the latch. A first cable segment is oriented above the bowstring plane and engaged with the first cable track. A second cable segment is oriented below the bowstring plane and engaged with the second cable track. A third cable segment is oriented above the bowstring plane and engaged with the third cable track. A fourth cable segment is oriented below the bowstring plane and engaged with the fourth cable track.
