For example, a non Access Point (AP) (non-AP) Multi-Link Device (MLD) may operate at an Enhanced Multi-Link Single Radio (EMLSR) operation mode of a Multi-Link Operation (MLO) over a plurality of links with an AP MLD, for example, based on a determination that the non-AP MLD is to operate over a millimeter Wave (mmWave) frequency band. For example, the plurality of links may include a sub 10 Gigahertz (GHz) (sub-10 GHz) link over a sub-10 GHz frequency band and an mmWave link over the mmWave frequency band. For example, the non-AP MLD may be configured to listen over the plurality of links to identify an Initial Control Frame (ICF) from the AP MLD; and to identify, based on detection of the ICF from the AP MLD over the mmWave link, that a Transmit Opportunity (TxOP) is to be established to communicate traffic with the AP MLD over the mmWave link.
