The shoe tongue is formed of a single knitted member of which side ends on a medial side and a lateral side are each joined to a vicinity of a tangent between a bottom part and a side part in the internal space. In the shoe tongue, part of an area from the ridge portion to the side end on the medial side or the lateral side is formed to have higher stretchability than at least part of other adjacent areas.
