Abstract:
A tracer tool for tracking a state of a dissolvable downhole tool includes a medium dissolvable under downhole conditions, and at least one tracer material embedded in the medium, and releasable from the medium during dissolution of the medium. The tracer tool is mechanically separate from the dissolvable downhole tool.
