METHOD, DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEM FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION BETWEEN A VEHICLE AND A TRAFFIC INFRASTRUCTURE AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING THE TRAFFIC FLOW
Abstract:
A method for wireless communication between a vehicle and a traffic infrastructure, including optically outputting information via a digital optical data transmission path in a visible range of light. A driver assistance system for a vehicle includes a control unit for setting an assistance function control signal for a functional unit of the vehicle. The control unit is connected to a receiver module which is configured such that it receives an optical modulated signal which is output from a traffic infrastructure component in a visible range of light over a digital optical data transmission path and converts the received optical modulated signal into a digital code word for further evaluation.
