Abstract:
An aerogel composition for a battery insulation sheet, a method of preparing the same, a battery insulation sheet formed using the same, and a method of manufacturing the battery insulation sheet are provided herein. The aerogel composition includes a solvent, a fibrous support, an aerogel, an antifoaming agent, and a functional material including a binder, a dispersant, or a combination thereof, wherein the fibrous support is 5 wt % to 70 wt %, the aerogel is 10 wt % to 90 wt %, the antifoaming agent is 0.05 wt % to 2 wt %, and the functional material is 0.5 wt % to 20 wt %, with respect to a total solid amount of the aerogel composition.
