Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a configuration of a beam report associated with a set of base station transmit beams, the set of base station transmit beams being directed to the UE via a backscatter link reflected by a backscatter device. The UE may transmit, to the base station, the beam report based at least in part on the configuration of the beam report, the beam report corresponding to the backscatter link.
