Abstract:
Aspects of this disclosure relate to resource mapping schemes. One embodiments is an apparatus including one or more processors coupled to a memory interface, and configure to encode a two part CSI that includes information bits of a first UCI type and information bits of a second UCI type. The First UCI type is a HARQ-ACK and the second the second UCI type is a SR. The encoded information bits of the first UCI type and the second UCI type are mapped onto a first physical resource. The first physical resource and a second physical resource are multiplexed in a TDM manner and the first physical resource precedes the second physical resource in a time domain. Information bits of the first and second UCI types are jointly encoded to respectively generate encoded HARQ-ACK bits and encoded SR bits. The two part CSI is output in a PUCCH.
