O-Alkyl-O-[6-tert.-butyl-pyrimidin(4)yl](thiono)(thiol)-phosphoric(phosphonic) acid esters of the formula ##STR1## in which R is hydrogen, halogen or alkyl,R.sup.1 is hydrogen or alkyl,R.sup.2 is alkyl,R.sup.3 is alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio or phenyl, andX is oxygen or sulphur. which possess insecticidal and acaricidal properties.
