The spherical bearing ends of three or more dumbbell-shaped rollers, in an interference fit between a rotatable shaft and the inner surface of a cylindrical sleeve, are partially enclosed in end cages which are clamped together but which may be adjusted so that the parallel roller axes are offset from the shaft axis whereby rotation of the shaft will provide rectilinear movement to the sleeve.
