摘要：
A degreasing composition for treating a metal surface in the form of an aqueous solution comprising as an essential ingredient a polynuclear phenol alkoxylate nonionic surfactant of the formula: ##STR1## wherein X is hydrogen atom or hydroxy group; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are, the same or different, each hydrogen atom or methyl group; AO is an alkylene oxide group; and n is 3 to 20, and, optionally, a defoaming agent.
