摘要：
Antibacterial activity is exhibited by compounds having the formula ##STR1## and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, wherein, R.sub.1 is an acyl group derived from a carboxylic acid;R.sub.2 is hydrogen, methoxy, or formamido ##STR2## and one of R.sub.3 and R'.sub.3 is hydrogen and the other is ##STR3## and R.sub.4 is hydrogen alkyl, substituted alkyl, phenyl, substituted phenyl, phenylalkyl or (substituted phenyl)alkyl.
