Halogenohydroxyflavones ##STR1## in which R is alkyl having 1-3 C atoms,X is F, Cl, Br or I, andm, n and p are each 1, 2 or 3,and their esters with sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid, and the salts of these compounds, are suitable for the treatment of hyperthyroidism.
