Insecticidal, acaricidal and nematocidal pyrimidinyl(thiono)(thio)-phosphoric(phosphonic) acid (amide) esters of the formula ##STR1## in which R represents hydrogen, or represents an optionally substituted radical selected from the group consisting of alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, dialkylamino, cycloalkyl and aryl,R.sup.1 represents hydrogen, aklyl or halogen,R.sup.2 represents alkyl,R.sup.3 represents alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, amino, alkylamino, dialkylamino or aryl andX represents oxygen or sulphur.
