A diffusion transfer-type silver halide color photographic photosensitive material comprising a support, having thereon at least a photosensitive thermally developable silver halide, a binder, a dye donating compound which is fast to diffusion and which forms or releases a diffusible dye, a development inhibitor releasing compound which releases a development inhibitor and a compound represented by formula (I)R.sup.1 --Y--O--H [I]wherein R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkylamino group, an arylamino group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, a heterocyclic residual group or a polymer residual group of said groups, Y represents ##STR1## or --SO.sub.2 --NR.sup.2 -- and R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or an acyl group, and R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may be joined together to form a five or eight membered ring is disclosed.
